Terms of Use

Last updated: August 1, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using NewsLearner ("the App"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Usage License

NewsLearner grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use the App for personal language learning. You may not reverse engineer, copy, or distribute the App's source code or proprietary content.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

4. Content Disclaimer

NewsLearner uses AI to adapt third-party news content. While we strive for accuracy, the simplified text may occasionally diverge from the original article's nuance. NewsLearner is an educational tool, not a primary news source.

5. Copyright & Takedown Requests

NewsLearner links to and displays excerpts and AI-adapted versions of publicly available news articles for language-learning purposes. Every article shows its source publication, and the original article remains one tap away. We do not claim ownership of any third-party content, and we do not reproduce publisher content on our own website.

If you are a rights holder and want your content excluded, email support@newslearner.com with the subject line Takedown Request and include:

We aim to acknowledge requests within 3 business days and, where a request is valid, to remove the material and block the domain from future indexing. Publishers may also request exclusion of an entire domain in advance, without alleging infringement.

6. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is". NewsLearner is not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the App.

7. Third-Party Platform Integrations

NewsLearner integrates with third-party platforms, including TikTok (via TikTok's Login Kit and Content Posting API), solely to operate and publish content to NewsLearner's own official social media accounts. Use of these integrations is governed by the respective platform's terms of service. These integrations do not grant NewsLearner any access to app users' social media accounts, and app users are never asked to connect a social media account to use NewsLearner.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the app or its services, including but not limited to: attempting to access other users' data, reverse engineering pay-gated functionality, abusing free usage allowances through automated means, or using the app's AI features to generate unlawful content.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the app's online services for accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Continued use of the App implies acceptance of the new terms.
