Terms of Use (EULA)

1. Agreement

By downloading, installing, or using NewsLearner, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Anonymous Accounts & Data Loss

Your account is anonymous. We do not associate it with an email or phone number.

NO DATA RECOVERY: If you uninstall the app, lose your phone, or clear app data, you will lose your "Pro" subscription status and any credits.
NO TRANSFER: You cannot transfer your progress to another device.
BACKUP: You are solely responsible for backing up your device data (e.g. using iCloud or Google Drive backups).

3. Subscriptions (Pro)

Purchase: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID / Google Play Account at confirmation of purchase.
Auto-Renewal: Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.
Restoration: You can restore your purchase on the SAME platform (iOS -> iOS) using the "Restore Purchase" button, provided you are signed physically into the same App Store account. You cannot transfer subscriptions between Android and iOS.
Cancellation: You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your Account Settings on the App Store or Google Play after purchase.

4. User Content (Local)

Your saved words, game history, and learning progress are stored locally on your device. We have no access to them and cannot recover them for you if lost.

5. AI & Content Disclaimer

The App uses Artificial Intelligence to adapt news articles. AI-generated translations and explanations may occasionally contain errors. This app is for educational purposes only.

6. Limitation of Liability

NewsLearner is not liable for any data loss resulting from the nature of anonymous accounts, local storage, or device failure.
